Had the FF800 since it came out and never had a problem until a few years ago when it started exhibiting this peculiar behavior. It occurs whenever the driver software boots, if the FF unit is power cycled or the the computer is booted or rebooted. In the Fireface settings window the sample rate is boosted by 1.715% and I have to reset it to 0% or the recordings would behave like the tape machine is running fast and all the exports are slightly slow or out of tune.

I've been dealing with it for some time now and I am pretty good at remembering to change it back but it's very frustrating and is very time consuming on the rare occasion I miss it.

I am on a windows 7 machine with all updates on OS and RME drivers.

Please help!
