Topic: Digiface USB as audio interface in live situations

Hi all

I am a very happy owner of a Fireface UC, however, I am looking for a more compact solution for when I go abroad. I usually play at venues where DJs also play and I connect my soundcard to a mixer (such as a Allen & Heath Xone92). I am now thinking to get a Digiface USB because of the small size and use the headphone output to connect to the mixer. I have accepted that the output is unbalanced as the mixer inputs are RCA plugs anyway.

My question is now whether the output of the Digiface output is loud enough?

I have read earlier that headphone output can be a little quite, especially when running on 5V, and I usually have set my Fireface line out to 0 just to match the CDJs. I see that the Digiface output is very low impedance and the mixer inputs are usually very high impendance and I wonder if they match?

I hope you can help me clarify.
Best regards,
Rasmus

The output on line connection is more than 'loud' enough for any DJ mixer. Detailled tech specs are in the manual.
