Topic: Can ADI-2 Pro convert DoP to PCM?

I am looking for a feature that I am not sure if ADI-2Pro SRC supports.   I would like to playback DoP via USB to ADI, then output 24/176 PCM via its AES output.  By doing this, i can route the PCM stream to downstream equipment.

Can ADI-2Pro convert DoP to PCM in its USB or D-to-D mode?

Shure, otherwise it would not be able to playback DSD at all. But it can not change the sample rate at the same time. 176.4 kHz is DSD64. Any other DSD rate will give a different sample rate and failing AES outputs...

For DSD to PCM conversion, is there any gain adjustment?   SACD/DSD is mastered at 6dB quieter than CD, so for playback of DSD file, a gain of 6dB is usually applied for equal loudness.

Just wonder if it is implemented on ADI-2Pro and whether this volume compensation is customizable.

What I wrote above is nonsense. I got side-tracked by the SRC...

The DoP to PCM conversion happens in the DAC chip, so is only available at the analog outputs, not at the AES output. Sorry.
