Topic: 802, UfX - PT 10

Hi Guys

I have a problem concerning UCX and Pro Tools Aggregate I/O or whatever it is.

The Setup:

Mac Book Pro OSX 10.9.5
PT 10.3.8
RME Fireface 802 as Master
RME Fireface UCX as Slave

All Signals are ariving at Totalmix.
All Signals of the 802 are ariving in PT 10.
The two Mic Ins of the UCX are ariving in PT 10 to.
No Signals of the Inst Inputs and line Inputs (3-8) (UCX) are coming into Pro Tools.

I have no idear why. The I/O Settings are set the right way. The two Mic Ins are working...
Also the Pro Tools Aggregate in the Audio Midi Setup and the PT I/O are showing all Inputs.

Would be glad about response.

Best Regards

Joschka

Re: 802, UfX - PT 10

Doesnt protools 10 native have a limitation to 32 io channels ... maybe google yourself for that.

802 has 30 i/o already in and out.

Plus 2 Mics which you see from UCX ...

Voila 32 ...

Re: 802, UfX - PT 10

If you don't need the ADAT otherwise, you can set up the UFX to work standalone as an AD/DA converter (12 in / 12 out) via the ADAT ports, then connect with optical cables to the FF802. Then you don't need the aggregate device, the FF802 would be addressed directly by Pro Tools, and you remain under the artificial 32 I/O limit that AVID places on native interfaces.
