Topic: Complex routing to record voice and DAW and send that to skype input

Hi,

Can someone explain me how can I route my voice (microphone in 1 of RME fireface) and the output of ableton in the same channel and send that as the microphone of skype?

then the person on skype can listen to my voice at the same time with the output of Ableton.

Thank you.

For example you can route microphone and Abletons software output from TotalMix FX to output 1&2 and then use Loopback function. Then set Analog (1+2)(RME Fireface) as microphone in Skype.

And by route I mean raise the microphone fader and Ableton software return fader while output 1&2 selected.

Thank I will try, I don't exactly get the "loopback" function.

Its a virtual way to connect output back to input.
To activate the loopback on output press the Loopback button on the output channel.
You can find it under the wrench symbol.

Hey Jayzteroid, I registered to the RME forum (and it was some real pain in the...) just to thank you for your advice which solved the same problem tutozik had and which i wasn't able to figure out by myself.

Thanks a lot.
