When I'm recording into analog 3/4 on the BF-Pro, the signal is way too hot.
But i I add some passive attenuators, won't it degrade/ruin the quality of the input signal?

What's your signal source here?

Hi Daniel, the recording chain is: turntable -> phono preamp -> BF-Pro.
Preamp is already set to the lowest gain possible.

Is BFPro input channel set to -10 or +4 gain range?
Have you made sure not to apply any gain to the inputs in Totalmix?

Input channel is set to +4 dBu.
Gain is set to 0 in Totalmix.
What kind of preamp is this?

It is this one from Project:

I do not expect any sound change by using those attenuators. If you want to know the exact output impedance of the Project preamp (to make 100% sure the attenuators are transparent) you have to ask Project. The BF input is not the relevant point here.
Perfect. I will ask Project before buying the attenuators, just to be sure.
Thank you for your kind help guys & for making such great products.
Best wishes
