Topic: using 192khz rme ufx+ and headphones out

hello, im testing few things with the unit (ufx+ through usb 3)

im coming across an interesting feature... putting the sample rate at 192khz and the sound in the headphones disappear?

Is that normal? what s the use of 192khz if you cant track ?

That would be a disappointment for me as the idea of recording at 192khz was an important selling point for me to get the ufx+

And unless im not getting something, i dont really see the point of being of playing back your music at 192 if you cant track at 192 to begin with...

can someone shed some light over this? im puzzled,

thank you !

L.

Please check the output assignment of your player software and the playback signal flow via TotalMix FX. The UFX+ works exactly as advertized, all analog channels are operating at 192 kHz.

This might support you on this topic, I guess you are not familiar with TotalMix FX basic operation.
