Topic: ff ufx whitescreen @ 1st turn on

Hello!

Sorry, as i couldn't find the search-function at this Forum, my issue may have been reported several times...

Turning on my FF UFX sometimes causes a White-Screen, (and no functionality). Turned off and on again, EVERY TIME(!) Startup works fine :-) and the unit runs without any faults. 

So it seems to be an (not too serious) issue with some condensators or anything at the power-unit?

Can this be fixed?

Bluescreen is a known term. What you mean by whitescreen .. something on the UFX display or on the computer ?
Which computer / OS do you have ?

The UFX Display stays at 1st whitescreen after having been turned on. Once i read here by an rme specialist that this means the dsp's have not started to work.

The Computer is not at all influenced by that. The OS does not load the Drivers at the time that happens. I use a PC with win 7 64Bit. After switching off and on within some seconds, all works as it should.

It was not clear to me what display you mean and if you tell "whitescreen" it sounds like the term "bluescreen" which is a very familiar term in Windows for some folks wink But now you clarified it, thanks.
