Topic: Problem assigning internal 96khz when other clocks present?
I'm running Steinberg's Wavelab. My system has an RME HDSP9632 installed. I normally run Wavelab at 44khz - sometimes using internal clock, and sometimes using external clock (when streaming into this computer from another computer). The problem is this:
I have an incoming ADAT signal at 44.1khz. I also have an incoming SPDIF signal at 44.1khz. I set the RME clock to "internal", and attempt to set the internal clock to 96khz. I open a 96khz file... it won't work... I go back into the RME Hammerall DSP settings window, and the sample rate is greyed out - and set to 48khz. I cannot change it... even though the clock is set to "internal"??? Why? In order to get this working, I have to either unplug, or power down both of the other converters (the 44.1khz SPDIF and ADAT signals). Why? I'm trying to run on internal clock at 96khz right now...
Thanks,
Todd
