Topic: Firewire working but not USB on UFX

It was a long time I didn't connect my UFX with USB. As I installed the new drivers on my Macbook (end 2011, 10.12.5) I wanted to flash the new firmware but my Mac don't see the UFX.
While connect with Firewire it works well. Can it be a hardware problem?

Which driver did you install? USB and FireWire connections need two separate drivers.

Did you ever set the unit to CC Mode (Class compliant) from the front panel menu system?

So weird,

        I also am going through my USB not working; not allowing me to get to flashing the unit.

Went about 6 months without turning on my UFX and now USB connection no longer works; but the Firewire connection works @AMEN!!


my software is at  /// SW version 1.61

I was able to Turn CC mode on, then back off. I have never used an apple device with the ufx yet as I still use my trusty IPAD1.


Do you have any other tips for us or me to try!
