Topic: Red Host light on FF800 on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6

Hi all,
Trying to get my FF800 working on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6 with no luck. Red host light won't go away.

Details:
Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6
FF800
Using OEM Mac Firefire800 to Thunderbolt adapter

Installed the following drivers / FUT with no luck:
Fireface_290_x86.zip
Flash update tool: fut_mac_fire_x86.zip
driver_fw_mac_333.zip

I see TotalMix and Fireface Settings installed in my applications folder but when I try to launch the apps nothing happens.

I have restarted the computer after each Flash update and driver install as well and restarted the FF800 several times.

Appreciate any help

Try a different FW cable. Try the other FW port on the unit. Check that the FW controller (wihtin the adapter) itself is found, via System Info.
