I just replaced my old FF800 with an FF802 but while the drivers install I cannot connect with FF802

USB and FireWire connection require 2 different drivers, what did you install and how do you connect?

Hi Jeff
I sent an email to the Australian distributor who actually replied at 11:14pm (how is that for dedication) and he managed to get me working via USB (even though I had tried several times).
He said that he would pursue FW connection once we had USB working so I'm hoping to hear back from him in the morning.

I really would like to be connected via firewire the same as my old FF800.
I have tried downloading the latest FF802 firewire drivers but I cannot get the unit recognised that way.

Still no luck but I was wondering can the FF802 run off the same firewire 800 card and same cable that a FF800 used to use (and that is now plugged into the FW800 input on the FF802)?

Sure, it should work fine if it's still working with the old FF800.
