Topic: Constant drop outs with UFX+ and a MacBook Pro USB-C

I have used a UFX+ with a 10 meters USB-3 cable on my former MacBook Pro (Early 2013) and two MacPro (2014) with no problem. But recently I switch to a new MacBook Pro (June 2017) and I have dropouts all the time, even when I just read a stereo file.
I tried with two different USB-C to USB adaptors:
- the one made by Apple
- the one made by Satechi.
This last one could be passive or active, but the results are the same.
Anyone has the same problem on a Mac?

High Sierra is the solution. Or using Thunderbolt instead.

Thanks. I just order a 10m Corning Thunderbolt cable. We will not move, as an institution to a new MacOS in the middle of a term!!!

Matthias, May I ask?
What will correct this issue in High Sierra?
Does that mean that it is only a MacOS problem? I have seen people reporting the same kind of problem under Windows.

Playback under USB3 was broken on the new machines with Sierra, mentioned in this forum already. Fixed in the latest High Sierra betas.
