Topic: UCX routing/standalone

Here is a draw.io diagram picture I made up to show you my intended setup: http://oi67.tinypic.com/28048ih.jpg

Before I make the purchase, I just wanted to know for sure how this routing & standalone operation worked.

I want this setup:

mono synth #1 -> UCX input 1
mono synth #2 -> UCX input 2
stereo sampler -> UCX inputs 3 and 4 (linked stereo)
stereo synth #1 -> UCX inputs 5 and 6 (linked stereo)
stereo synth #2 -> UCX inputs 7 and 8 (linked stereo)
UCX outs 1 and 2 -> monitors
UCX outs 3 and 4 -> stereo sampler
UCX phone outs 7/8 -> headphones

Now, would it be as simple as also making these routings in TotalMix FX, saving it to the UCX hardware unit?

So everytime the UCX is booted up, it would automatically have this particular routing "wired", if I were to use it without the PC?

Later on, if I wanted to add ADAT converter, extra monitors, etc.... I would just update the routings in TotalMix, overwrite save to the hardware & be done?

Re: UCX routing/standalone

Here an overview about totalmix 1st steps / routing and RME Tutorial videos.
When quickly looking through your requirements, this all should be possible.

Or you take the old flagship interface UFX as you can get it now to a very special price as new flagship interface hit the szene.
