Topic: Beginner question: no effects on the HDSPe AIO?

Hey all,

proud owner of my first RME audio interface, a HDSPe AIO.

I am missing icons below the wrench icon, EQ,... What am I missing. The AIO has no effects capability?

Appreciate your help.

It has no FX chip.

Thanks ramses. Makes sense. So only the madi fx has one from the internal interfaces?

yes, only this PCIe card has a FX effect engine on board: http://www.rme-audio.de/products/hdspe_madi_fx.php

Thanks for the confirmation. Would have been a toy, since I work in picture post, but an EQ would have been nice to try to calibrate.
