Topic: Direct Monitoring inputs 11-20 on 2 Fireface System

Hi All,

I have two Fireface 800's linked for 20 total analog ins/outs. While in TotalMix, I have no problem direct monitoring out of inputs 1-10 from the first Fireface unit and sending out of the same unit on any output. I can't seem to figure out how to send inputs 11-20 (or 1-10 of the 2nd fireface) to output 1-10 of the first fireface unit.


Essentially, how can I set up my 2 fireface units to send all inputs from both units to one output of either card?

You can't, unless you send all signals physically from one unit to the other (for example via ADAT).
