I am using UFX with octamic d up to twelve Mic Channels via anaolog  inputs to UFX for classical recordings at 44,1 kHz/24bit.

Is there any (acusticllay relevant ) advantage/disadvantage connecting them via ADAT with octamic as master? So I may use Quadmic for additional channel on analog inputs of UFX?
Alternatively I own an  UC too which gives possibilities to add more than 12 channels to UFX
