Topic: SPDIF Level

All,

I am pretty new with RME and I need to adjust the gain Level while recording via SPDIF. I have checked the manual but without any luck. I am using the Fireface UCX, High Sierra with USB Driver and latest version of TotalMIX.

Digital input signals can not be altered in gain/level. This has to be done at the source, or later in post processing.

Thanks a lot. This explains everything.

My source is a YAMAHA Genos and I can calibrate the output by +6dB and +12dB.

For the more experienced users: one can change the digital input level by activating Dynamics in the input channel and using Gain in there. Just make sure the two Ratios are set to 1.0 so the dynamics are inactive.
