Topic: RayDat and AEB8-O question

I have a PCIe RayDat with an AEB8-O plugged into the internal ADAT1 header and it is working great, gives me 4 headphone outs no problems.

however on the driver the ADAT1 shows as no lock which i suppose is to be expected as there is nothing plugged into optical ports number 1 on the back of the card.

so that is the way it should be?

i feed the other adat optical i/o ports (2,3,and 4) with a PCI AIO in another and an older DIGI9652 in an old xp box and a behringer ADA8200 and the whole thing is bulletproof !

i honestly think the team that did the hardware and software and the driver should really never have to pay for a drink ever again ! surely if ever there is a user of this RME gear in the bar they would gladly pay for the drinks, i know i would.

congratulations on making hardware software and drivers that are so excellent it is actually hard to believe such a high standard has actually been achieved.

Re: RayDat and AEB8-O question

The O gets the ADAT output signal. Only if an 'I' board would be used you could expect an input signal.

Thanks for the drinks!
