I really hope you can help me.

I just added to my live equipment a MacBook Air 13" (Late 2017) OsX High Sierra 10.13.2
I'm trying to connect my FireFace 800 (Firmware 2.77) with brand new cables and adapters but it doesn't work, the Host red light stays lit.
The FF800 works great if connected with Firewire 800 to an older mac on both ports, I tried severals Thunderbolt to FF adapters and the Thunderbolt port on the new Air works great if connected to an HD.

Any ideas, feedback or magic trick?
