Ok, I'll give some more information right here. We had planned to release a first public beta of the whole TotalMix FX 1.50 (Mac and Windows TotalMix Remote, Mac and Windows TotalMix FX, iPad App) several weeks before NAMM. Untill I dared to invite forum user Ramses to try our current version - it was a complete desaster.
Our research then uncovered a lot of reasons, and when working to solve these we found more and more problems under the hood. Which in the end made us re-wrote the whole transmission engine, fix a lot of bugs and adding new features to improve usability.
This all trashed our time plan. We were glad to have a stable and reliable version working during NAMM, with all grounds covered and basically ready for the public. Still we keep it for the last changes until about Thursday or Friday (hopefully), to be released then in this forum. The last changes try to make it as user-friendly as possible. Why releasing a version where we already know upfront what will be critisized? This only makes sense with features that need too much time right now, and are scheduled for a later release (one of them is user management, for the typical example of having several people controlling their own submix, but not the whole host system).
So please be patient - it's worth it!
