Topic: fireface uc macOS High Sierra install problem

Hi there, I've received a fireface UC. I'm trying to install it on my macbook. And it doesn't work.

No red light and the fireface is in Mac-Mode :-)
The system report shows the fireface uc on USB-Bus.
the 3.03 driver installation: successful
In TotalMix: It's not possible to open a window.
The FlashTool starts. But the the update process doesn't work.
The Fireface USB-Settings looks different: No Gain-Faders

Any ideas or recommendations?

Check  the  correct  firmware  version  by  a  double  click  on  the  rotary  encoder  button.  The
display  PC  means  Windows,  the  display  AP  means  Mac.  The  double  click  automatically
switches between both versions. Note: a change of state is only possible when the unit is
not connected to the computer.

Thank you for the quick response!
The firmware version was AP.
I tried different things:
I installed the latest Fireface 400 drivers and
after a MacOS High Sierra Update from 10.13.2 to 10.13.3 it works?!

The pdf does not refer to the installation process. It refers to steps that need to be taken after the installation, manually.

hi, I have a similar problem, new computer with high sierra.
I installed 3.03 & did the approval as described in 'Help for High Sierra Installation', but it didn't work.
maybe I didn't approve within 30mins of install but I've tried to remove drivers & everything else & reinstall but without success.

would be an idea to try with Fireface 400 drivers as mentioned above?

I had the same problem after I needed a reinstall of the software on my iMac. Could not get the Fireface UC to show up in the "Device Selection" box when trying to open a new window in Totalmix FX.

This worked for me. It looked like the new driver was loading, but apparently pieces of it were blocked by System Prefs \ Security & Privacy
Follow the steps in the link -- it works.
