Is there any way to record single software playback channels in DuRec?

UFX+, MacBook Pro 2015, High Sierra, Ableton Live 10, Push 2.

Via loopback function.

Route your SW playback channel(s) to an unused pair of HW Input/Output.
On the HW output click to tool symbol and enable loopback.
Once you did that you can record the signal in the corresponding HW input.
