Topic: Daisychain F800 & F802 at 96k

Hello,

I would like to daisychain a Fireface 802 with a Fireface 800, anyone try these ?
F802 and F800 connected in firewire and the F802 connected with my MPB in USB

If it's not working, someone use daisychain with two Fireface 800 ? With the same process, the twice F800 connected in Firewire

I would like to work in 96k, is it working or not ?

What are the problems ?

That will most probably not work. For daisy chain two such units you need FW800, and the 802 has only FW400. But you could use the FF802 via USB and the FF800 via FW, as Aggregated Device. Just make sure they are synced via word.

In case you use a newer Mac OS you also need the latest drivers or the sample rates will not work correctly in Aggregate mode.

Have you experience in Aggregate mode ? Is it stable ?
