Topic: Open Broadcast Studio and Babyface Pro

Hi all,

I have been pulling my hair out trying to get Open Broadcast Studio (OBS) to work with my Babyface soundcard. Despite any loopback settings in Totalmix I try, OBS won't pick up any "desktop audio." Apparently other people also don't know how to get OBS to work with RME products:

The only solution I have found is to use another piece of software (like VoiceMeeter or virtual audio cable), which is a shame because it introduces latency and complications to my setup.

OBS seems to be widely used software for making screen capture and live stream videos. I wonder why RME products won't work with it? Or alternatively are there other screen capture software programs that will work with RME products/Total mix?

What OS and version please ?

Windows 10 Home, v 1709.

Just now I have been able to get OBS to receive/record desktop audio by using the ASIO DirectX Full Duplex device in my DAW, but still not when using the ASIO Fireface USB device.
