Topic: Applying Ableton plugin FX on hardware inputs?

Hello

After lots of debate, I decided to stay in the box and keep my Fireface 800 instead of buy a mixer.

I've got synths and drum machines going into it and all is well

NOW... I'd like to apply my Ableton plugs in to the LIVE audio input from my hardware - no prerecorded clips in Ableton, just straight inputs from my Tanzbar given distortion etc. Effectively Ableton acts as an outboard fx unit

I struggle with Totalmix FX, so can anyone explain how to achieve this? Sounds like some kind of software monitoring - with Ableton in the chain - but I cant work out how to achieve it.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

In Ableton you send it to an output channel, then this audio will appear in the TM FX SW Playback channel
and this you need to route to your main out.

TM FX submix mode, click to Main Out, raise the fader of this particular SW playback channel.
