some high-end brands as PS Audio or Meitner are convert any PCM signal to the DSD
even cheap gear like AK4137 can make it

it brings all tech advantages of the true NOS (digital filters are removed, pure meander) plus we have a pure 18 kHz sinus, which are not exist on the NOS mode until 4x-resampling

Use HQPlayer, it works much better than the AK4137.

i use JRiver on my PC. JRiver can convert PCM to DSD but it causes overload on CPU, so cooler sounds too (((
moreover it not possible via Tidal desktop
plus it not possible on my basic music system (Lynux MPD Player)
