RME User Forum → FireWire & USB series → BabyFace & OSX High Sierra (Not Working) driver 3.03
I'm using the original 'BabyFace' with the OSX 3.03 driver
just upgraded to High Sierra
but now the BabyFace don't show up in audio devices and the Matrix /Mixer won't load
I had a version of High Sierra BETA and with the 3.03 driver - it was working fine
can anyone from RME look into this

You might need to reinstall USB driver 3.03 so that the Security & Privacy dialog shows a button 'Allow' for the RME kernel extension. This button disappears after 30 minutes. Then you need to install the driver again to be able to click 'Allow'.

1. System preferences: security and settings - allow apps from apple & identified
2. install RME Driver 3.03
3. Restart
4. System preferences (Again) : Click on the new button, which allow RME driver to be installed

I have a Fireface 802, when updating the operating system of Apple High Sierra, I have had problems with audio locking and small clicks (noise) in the recording.
I saw in some sites that RME claimed not to have problems with the new operating system, but even in the Business Forum I found complaints.
Are you planning to update your Drive?

Try a clean installation of High Sierra (instead of an upgrade).

I have the same problem on my FireFace UC (High Sierra 10.13.2)
I installed the Driver 3.03, restart my Mac, allow the driver installed.
The driver was installed, but the TotalMix isn't work.
Please help my problem !

I tried all this various ways but still my total mix window is not loading. if anyone could help me out with that.
i went through security and settings and many more hal plugins and all but still its not working. tried reinstalling too.
i have got babyface pro.
Download driver 3.08 and try again.

Is the Settings dialog opening? If not, is the BF Pro in CC mode?
