Topic: Fireface UCX will only work in class-compliant mode

I have an iMac which my UCX works just fine with (i.e., in normal mode). I also have a 15'' 2017 MBP. Both are running MacOS 10.13.4.

The MBP is having strange issues with the UCX. It is enumerated as a USB device.

However, it will only work in class compliant mode. TotalMix won't open. Here's what my Fireface USB Settings app looks like on the MBP when not operating the UCX in class compliant mode:

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm especially worried because my iMac is currently in repair and will be for another two weeks. I'd like to use the UCX fully as long as it's gone.

You need to update to driver 3.08, download from our website.

Thanks, I just tried that but sadly no luck, even after two reboots. Tried resetting to factory settings. I guess I'll just need tp wait for my iMac to be back from repair...

The Settings dialog looks fine. If this is not a Security & Privacy problem, then maybe a (MIDI) plugin problem:
