Topic: UCX on Mac not showing interface names

Sorry if this is a dumb beginners question..

Been using UCX on Windows for ages, where in Audacity and other programs the names of the audio interfaces (Analogue 1, ADAT3 etc) show up.

But on Mac the interfaces don't have names apart from the first two, just numbers 3 through 18, making it hard to select inputs.

Also using Cleanfeed.net service for sending audio across network using Chrome WebRTC and on Windows all the interfaces show up as possible source, but on the Mac, just "Fireface UCX (2355...)"  - which is the "default" interface - but I'm not sure how to select which interface should be the "default" -- doesn't seem to be anything under System Preferences where again it only shows the Fireface UCX as one channel interface.

I can see and control all the channels in Total Mix.

Thanks for any help.
