Topic: No USB bitrate on the State Overview display

When I use USB mode, I didn't see what bitrate is - 16 or 24 bit

The bit rate is not shown as it is not known. Transfer is always 32 bit, no matter what is transferred.

well but it shows 16bit  even when external USB-SPDIF converster sends 16 bit in 24-bit word via AES or coax

But then you have an AES or SPDIF coax connection between both devices, right ?

On such digital connection there is a clock synchronization required and by this the clock rate is known.

by the way, when i play music on Linux MPD player via USB it never shows sharp 44.1 or 192 kHz in MPD menu. It always slightly shifted to 44118 Hz for example. I hope it will be corrected by DAC
