I bought pro and used it because of the small size and led.

The functionality of both devices and firmware updates are very satisfying.
But the design is not satisfied.
So I hope the next product with a bigger and more beautiful design.
For what reason you wish for new products / new design ?

Are you aware off, that in one of the last firmware updates RME introduced the AutoDarkMode ?!
On the Pro at least the display will be turned off.
On the DAC it turns off Display and all LEDs.
In terms of the big heatsink, that you glued on top of your ADI-2 Pro.
It has been stated a couple of times by RME in the forum that the case is designed to transport heat well to the outside.
There should be no demand to add an additional heatsink.
Or is your surrounding environment already so hot (living under a roof) ?

HIFI manufacturers have their own designs.
RME also has its own design. But I think it was not for HIFI.
RME knows. So changed the color to black.
But I feel it is not enough.
My taste is Devialet250. If PRO and DAC are that design, I can pay more than $ 1000.

I know. It is already in use.
But I did not find a way to hide the LED ring cleanly. So just hid it.

@RME: Is the ADI-2 Pro FS able to dark all LED like the DAC ?
