Topic: FX on my HDSPe MADI FX PCIe ... not working ?

Hi, I'm a long-time user of RME stuff. In my Studio Mac Pro I use a PCIe card - HDSPe Madi FX - ... working fine for years now :-) ...

But, the FX on this card are not working (I think ...)

Never needed it ... but now I tried an EQ ... NOT working ??
Then I tried Reverb and Delay ... NOT working ??

When I put up the FX Send ... Input is showing in the FX section ... but no output ?? So also no FX Return on the outputs ?

What goes wrong ? Or am I missing something here ??

1. Outdated firmware and drivers. Check the firmware version, current Flash Update Tool on our website includes v91 and DSP26.

2. If that doesn't help: Card defective. You should send it in for checking.

Hi, thanks for the reply ...

TotalMix FX is version 1.50

Firmware of the PCIe card is : v91 - DSP : 26
Driver : v1.24

All up to date I think so ...
Defective then ?

Hey hey ... it works !! ??

Just powered down the mac pro ... and then up again ... FX working !! Never saw them working in the past years ... strange ...

Yes, card defective then. DSP is not starting reliably after boot. Please contact your local distributor.
