Topic: 10 year-old Fireface 800 has started stuttering with Mainstage 3

I've been reading that older units should run firmware 2.47 or be sent in for a hardware fix. Odd though, because it had been working fine with that firmware up until recently. It could be I'm adding too much to my Mainstage concert, mostly this pretty heavy plug-in called SooperLooper, but the memory and CPU meters are nowhere near the top. SO that's why I think it's the Fireface.

Is there a way to verify myself if I need the hardware fix? And is there a way to roll the firmware back to 2.47 to see if that helps? Any other ideas of what to check?

Most probably it's the power supply that dies slowly. You should send it in for an overhaul anyway...

I might have the same problem with the power supply dying. Anyone having an idea how to fix it?
