Topic: UCX via Win 10 and UFX+ via MacBook together

hi.
actually I use an UCX on my Win 10 PC. I plan to buy a MacBook and UFX+. Both interfaces should be linked together for there is only one pair of monitor speakers.

Make this sense and should the two RMEs linked together with ADAT?

Anything will work, analogue, spdif or adat. It all depends on your needs. If it is just for connecting to your monitors, stereo will do, so spdif is fine.
I am mentioning analogue too since that is really a easy solution. No sync issues and setup. Someone once said in SOS magazine, I view analogue as the universal digital connection....don't be afraid of it!
