Topic: Fireface 800 to MacBook Pro (Thunderbolt) IS THIS POSSIBLE????

HELLO...
I have a FIREFACE 800 that a had on my PC...  the PC has died .. so ..   I thought I would hook the RME FIREFACE 800 to the Mac Book Pro   via   thunderbolt...  so.. I got the adapter.. hooked it up .. down loaded the software/driver.. etc 

The computer sees the adaptor  but not the FIREFACE 800 ...
ALSO  if you click on the Icon for the RME Total Mix.. it will not open..

so am I doing something wrong or will this simply not work....?

Do you have an URL which adapter you bought ?

Which driver did you download/install to be sure.

What OS version do you use on your Mac ?

I have an Apple brand adaptor from thunderbolt to Firewire 800
a firewire 800 cable going from the adapter to the FIreface 800.

You can google for URL .. thats a common term for the "web address" that you type in to reach a certain webpage, http:// .. https://

It makes it easier if you send the URL / Link / ... to the product page, what you bought.
