I hope this question doesn't annoy anybody with it's simplicity - I'm sure it's very simple but I'm still learning and want to setup my hammerfall settings.

For recording in DAW (reaper) should I have "output level" on Hi-Gain? (HDSP 9632 pci card - xlr breakout checkbox selected)

I am running a Behringer model D synth into an xlr input (balanced breakout cable) and then recording in my DAW. For most accurate recording levels, is this what I should set the output to my monitors at?

What should I set the input gain to - Lo, + or -10? (I would imagine -10)
