Topic: Windows 10 - FFUCX TotalMix memory address error upon shutdown/logoff

Hi, I'm running a FireFace UCX on Windows 10 with all drivers, firmware, and OS up to date, and a brand new USB cable.

About 1/4 of the time that I log off I get this error

The instruction at 0x0000000000000000 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000000. The memory could not be written.

Click on OK to terminate the program

Sometimes, seemingly random, I have another (not necessarily related) issue where my sound becomes thin and robotic; with strange digital noise. Fully resetting seems to help, but sometimes a few resets are required. That might have been due to a bad USB cable, but maybe this and the memory error are related?

Thanks.

These effects are not related. Do you use TotalMix FX 1.50(3)?

Yes, I am on 1.50(3).

I think the digital noise issue was a USB issue as I have not encountered it since i replaced the cable, but it hasn't been long enough to know for sure yet.

If you still have the shutdown error message here is a beta version that should fix it:

https://archiv.rme-audio.de/download/to … ta_win.zip

You will have to manually exit TM, then delete the current TotalMixFX.exe in Windows\System32, replacing it with the beta version.
