Topic: Babyface Pro: Power supply + iPad recording question

Hello forum

Will this power supply work with Babyface Pro?

https://www.av-cables.dk/12-v-stroemfor … 00-ma.html

(click on the little photo right above the words 'Produktbeskrivelse' - that's a photo of the box of the product = easier to read than the Danish description)

Also can anyone recommend some iPad software for recording audio tracks in 24 bit/44.1MHz?

Thank you.

Best regards,
Henrik

Re: Babyface Pro: Power supply + iPad recording question

12V is ok but 600 mA is much less compared to the handbooks recommendation (12V 2A).

Re: Babyface Pro: Power supply + iPad recording question

Thanks. I'm trying to find a cheaper, generic version of that PSU though.

This should do, right?
https://www.av-cables.dk/12-v-stroemfor … 50-ma.html

Specs:
12V
2250 mA
DC plug (5.50 x 2.10 mm)

EDIT: 2250 mA is okay? Or is it 2000 mA maximum?

Re: Babyface Pro: Power supply + iPad recording question

IMHO 2250 mA is what the power supply is able to deliver, when its being requested by the device.
If you take too small, then it can't deliver and its much likely that it overheats.

Voltage is pushed, while amperage is pulled.
