RME User Forum → FireWire & USB series → Rattle sound from shipment - BabyFace Pro - normal?
This BFP was recently shipped and the box arrived smashed. I don't remember it making this sound before, but it struck me as soon as took it out of the package.
It is possible to say what this is, and/or if it's ok?
It seems to work, so far. The sound also doesn't go away if from putting pressure anywhere on the exterior.

Isn't that just the sound of the volume wheel? Our MADIface Pro does the same. Hold it steady then shake the device.
I thought not because it made the sound even when holding the wheel. But if yours also makes the sound it's probably normal. Thanks 
To clarify, ours doesn't rattle when the wheel is held so it's worth getting it checked out!
