Topic: ADI-2 Pro + Hdspe AIO

https://i.gyazo.com/ccc8c34554abe1cfdc855f1f23500bce.jpg

Current setting

AIO -> Spdif out -> Spdif in -> ADI-2 Pro (AD/DA Mode)

Using VST (Because I think I could get less latency.)

I'd like to know what is the best option. I don't do record but gonna get a good preamp and mic soon.

For best performance and low latency, what I'm doing all right? or Should I just get rid of AIO and just get ADI-2PRO connected directly via USB to PC.

sorry for english.

You do not record ? For what are you getting a mic then ???

What is "best performance" for you ? In what regards ?

What low latency requirements do you have for what use case exactly ? If you record with a mic then low latency is not required.

I would keep the combination of AIO and ADI-2 Pro to have TotalmixFX by the AIO.

AIO and it's driver have low latency and the digital connection has no big impact in that regards.

Re: ADI-2 Pro + Hdspe AIO

Thank you for reply.

I wanted say that I'm going to get a mic preamp and mic and don't want to lose latency for VST.

so in this case should I use just ADI-2PRO or would it be fine ADI-2 pro( for better ADDA quality+ Hdspe AIO (for VST latency)

Re: ADI-2 Pro + Hdspe AIO

The ADI-2 Pro type of devices also come with a low latency ASIO driver.
The combination of AIO and ADI-2 Pro I would consider, to have Totalmix FX by the AIO.
This enables you to build a headphone mix in near realtime inside of the (internal) routing matrix of the AIO.

If you tke the ADI-2 Pro then you need to mix inside of the DAW.
I would take the combination of ADI-2 Pro and AIO.
