Topic: ADI-2 Pro Fs Black Edition Preorder

Hi there,

Are there any plans to open preorders for the black edition of the Pro Fs? I would love to secure one of the 500, preferably through the official rme-shop for the friends discount and solid international shipping. I see thomann.de is listing them as being available in "2-5 days", though I read an official comment earlier that they will not be shipping until October; is this still the case?

Very excited about this unit!

Whats the exact difference to the ADI-2 Pro FS ?

As far as I understood:
- black case
- no rack mounting holes on the side

Thats all ? Or some differences in darkening of the white LED ring or something else ?

From the provided images it appears to be entirely in the DAC enclosure (notice the flat metal flaps securing the rear as with the DAC that aren't on the regular Pro Fs).

It's perfect for me as I want the appearance of the DAC with the ADC/digital outputs/dual phones of the Pro. All it is missing is the fancy feet and the remote (not a huge deal).

Yes but the ADI-2 Pro / ADI-2 Pro FS has some practical distance holder on the back at the edges left and right on the case.
If you put it on the table with the back side, it might have a better stand, although this doesn't matter that much.

Almost all of the back ports will be taken up by bulky cables/connectors so I won't be putting it too close to a wall anyway.

I understand it's totally just an aesthetic preference, I'll own up to that big_smile

I have spoken to rme-shop.de and they will have preorders available in the next few days, happily.
