Topic: Driver 4.22 for hdsp 9632 Pci in Windows 10 Home 64 bit (Solved)

Good morning, I'm not sure, but I got a strange episode. Today I wanted to make a video-screen-record with Camtasia Studio. Selecting the audio of Rme hdsp 9632 Camtasia gives me an audio error and does not start recording. Same with the webcam in Skype: audio & video error. So I tried to disable or uninstall the Rme audio drivers but, when the computer restarts, the icons in the taskbar were again displayed. Now I'm not sure if this problem depends on Windows 10 (Home 64 bit updated) or the latest Rme drivers. The operations described above, I do them for several years, and I have never had similar problems. I point it out the same, meanwhile I will try to see if it depends on other factors ... Eventually I report later. Thank you.

Since I'm here, I take this opportunity to ask you why Windows 10 does not automatically install Rme driver in the search for updates and drivers ... Thank

The manual explains how to get rid of the symbols in the notification area (standard Windows procedure, but not part of the driver deinstallation).

Your second question is a bit strange. It should be clear that such a process is very complicated, time-consuming and slowing down not only the release of our drivers significantly, but also the frequency of their release. That is no option for us.

Ok, thank you very much for the answer, to make a test  I installed less updated Rme drivers dating back to 2017, and I get the same problem, so I do not depend on the Rme drivers or even Skype or Camtasia Studio (from the moment I tried two different versions of these programs ). It remains therefore the usual Windows that probably with its stupid continuous and useless updates of the App and others stupid various, always manages to create conflicts ... Thank.

I still report the same problem, I think Windows 10 creates some conflicts with audio recordings of software like Camtasia Studio... Currently I do not remember how to solve this annoying problem, but I report the error notice that comes with Camtasia Studio.

You updated to Windows 1803 and did not 'allow' the microphone to work? Google...

Thanks MC, found the problem ... Start ---> Settings ---> Privacy ---> Microphone ---> Allow APP to access the microphone. I take this opportunity to give a caress of compassion to the programmers of Windows 10 ... in the hope that they can find the right way in programming an operating system ...
