Topic: UFX II vs UFX +

The specs look identical aside for USB2 vs USB3/2+TB2, and the extra channels over MADI.

The marketing info on converters and THD (though again noise specs look identical), leads me to believe the UFX+ might be an upgrade.

Is the + better aside for I/O?

This is more specific to the UFX+: http://www.tonstudio-forum.de/blog/inde … 8-RME-UFX/

The UFX+ has been introduced 1st, when RME celebrated 20th anniversary.

A little later at NAMM show the UFX II was introduced.

At least in Germany the price of the UFX+ was lowered from ~€2700 to €2400.
So you get the UFX+ now for around €400 more, which is great in terms of USB3/Thunderbolt/MADI.
