Topic: hotplugging safe?

hello i have a babyface pro and im very often on the go plugging and unplugging it and would prefer to save time. Is it harmless to hotplug the usb, or do i need to eject the device before unplugging to prevent damage each time?

Ejecting a device is only necessary with data storage to prevent data loss.

Re: hotplugging safe?

Only hotplugging Firewire entails some risk as I found out with my tascam fw1804. Blew up the Firewire chip.
