Topic: Babyface distortions per when the Kawai VPC is connected

Hello,

I have a Babyface pro and connected a Kawai VPC1 Masterkeyboard there. The Babyface pro is connected to the computer via USB. The Kawai VPC1 is also connected to the computer via USB. As a speaker I connected Nubert NuPro A-20 to the Babyface via XLR.

My problem is this: If I play video clips over Youtube or listen to MP3 music, I can turn up the volume very high without distortion. I play with the Kawai so occur at very low volume distortion. For sound generation from Kawai I use contact from NC

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or even say what I've done wrong.

Can you tell what buffer size setting you are using? 64 samples, 128 samples or 256 samples? What happens if you play around with these settings? Distortion should get less with higher values. The latency will also increase so you will have to find a value that works for you. I hope this helps.
