Topic: UFX+, max USB3 cable length

Hi,

up to now I am using a 3m USB3 quality cable.

A little bit more length would be nice.

How are your experiences with 4 or 5m cable, possible ?

This cable seems to work reliably  between RME UFX+ and Sonnet Allegro Pro (USB3-PRO-4PM-E)

Since 40 minutes I can see no errors in the USB diagnosis. Just noticed that this cable is not available anymore from Lindy directly, the product has been substituted by this successor, its still the "Cromo" series, but it has now 3 instead of 2 shields.
