Topic: Aye Aye Aye! Newb question that I have searched an answer to.

My gear is as follows...

Axiom 25 2nd gen.
Babyface Pro interface
Pro Tools 12
iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6

I have the keyboard plugged in to the USB for power. I have the midi in/outs hooked up to the Babyface.

What next??

Even if you could send me a link to some tutorials, that would be awesome.  What would be even better is if you came over and hooked it all up for me while I took a nap.

So the keyboard works in GarageBand. Will this keyboard show up at all in the TotalMix window?

What would you expect the keyboard to do in Totalmix? It is meant to be used with DAW / audio software...

I would suggest that you maybe 1st have a look to the RME video Tutorials, which I collected here in one of my blog articles, this gives you a 1st more "visual" understanding about TM FX, its workflow and capabilities: https://www.tonstudio-forum.de/blog/ind … al-Videos/

Then you should definitively read the BBFP handbook. The RME documentation is excellent and describes the TM FX capabilities thoroughly in chapter 21-24 on 34 pages.

The TM FX online help also contains useful information.

Thank you for that. My intent as a neophyte is proper set up and having all of this new gear can get a bit overwhelming at times. I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.
