Topic: USB 3 extension cable for Fireface UFX+

So yeah, im getting the RME Fireface UFX+ but will host it quite a bit further away then standard 3 m max length for USB 3 from the computer - need it to be around 6-7,5m away. Now re the USB 3 extension cable for this application. Would ppl at RME or users on this forum like to recommend me some product or put forth some specs i should follow in acquiring this extension cable (passive/active, etc..) . I plan to use quite a lot of bandwidth on this USB lead btw (adding external converters through MADI).

Up to 5m I have no issues using these 2 USB3 cables, where I would suggest to take the newer one with 3 shields.

Thanx for the input, tho i think i am more inclined to try an active extender type of setup. What is the length of the USB3 cable that comes with the Fireface UFX +?
