Topic: Hammerfall PCI Card flashing

I am about to flash an old PCI card (for Multiface) Rev. <1.8 to (latest) firmware version number 17, so it (hopefully) works under WIN10 using the latest 4.26 driver...

Question: in case I plug the card into some old XP machine (2.94 driver), is the above firmware 17 compatible, or do I need to flash the card back to firmware version number 15?

That is answered in detail in the readme inside the zip, basically it is compatible.

The card will work under Win 10, but that is not the point. Your new motherboard/computer might not like the PCI card and can be incompatible. YMMV.
